How to fund your Vault with $VGT (and get a 50% Discount)
With the latest release of Vault12 Guard, now available in both iOS App Store and Google Play, we have streamlined how you can use VGT tokens to upgrade your Vault or fund your Vault for future use. Right now there is a 50% discount on all plans if you fund your Vault with VGT.
If you have Vault Guardian Tokens (VGT), you can use them to pay a portion of your Vault12 Guard subscription plan. This article explains how to deposit VGT in your wallet, and use it toward your plan upgrade.
Step 1 — Go to pay.vault12.com
You will then be brought to a webpage with a Vault12 code to scan. Leave this page open, because you will be scanning the code using your Guard mobile app.
Step 2 — Scan the code using Vault12 Guard
Once you have opened the Vault12 Guard app on your mobile phone, start by tapping the Settings gear icon at the top of the Dashboard. Once in Settings, tap Advanced.
You will be using the app's Advanced Settings page to Sync your device to Vault12's Guard plan subscription page to easily complete your purchase.
1. Once in Settings, tap Advanced.
2. Within the Advanced tab, select Device Syncing
3. Open the Device scanner by tapping "Sync a Device"
4. Scan the code on the webpage by positioning the mobile camera so the code is in clear view. Your app will automatically perform the scan.
Step 3 — Select a Plan
After scanning the code, you'll be brought to the Vault12 web dashboard. Choose a plan by tapping the "Upgrade" button on the bottom of the card showing your preferred plan.
Step 4 — Activate VGT Discount
At the bottom of the Plan Upgrade screen, you'll see the "Total Due." You can activate the "VGT Discount" toggle here to view the amount of your plan payable in VGT.
Step 5 — Deposit VGT
To upgrade your plan, you'll require a minimum of the "Total Due" in your wallet balance. To deposit VGT, you can use Metamask or your third-party wallet to send VGT directly to the Deposit Address shown.
If you don't have the required funds in your wallet, the "Confirm and Pay" button will be disabled.
Step 6 — Confirm and Pay
If you have enough funds in your wallet, the "Confirm and Pay" button will be active. You may now select the "Confirm and Pay" button, and payment processing will begin.
Depending on network speeds, processing may take a few minutes. The screen will automatically refresh when processing is complete.
Step 7 — Payment Complete
If your transaction was successful, your Vault will be updated momentarily. If you received an error, please wait a few moments and try the transaction again.

Vault12 Digital Inheritance is the first solution to deliver an effortless and secure method for transferring a variety of digital assets — including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), other cryptocurrencies, and data — to future generations.
This innovative system enables users to appoint either a person or a mobile device as a guardian. The designated guardian is entrusted to protect the user's comprehensive collection of digital assets, encompassing seed phrases, private keys, and other confidential information, safely stored within a decentralized digital Vault.
This process not only mitigates potential risks but also removes the necessity for regularly revising asset inventories or modifying instructions, which often leads to breaches in privacy.
Designed to be used alongside traditional hardware, software, and online wallets, Vault12 Guard helps cryptocurrency owners, safeguard their digital assets without storing anything in the cloud or in fact, any one single location. This increases protection and decreases the risks of loss.
Note:The Vault12 Guard app is not a crypto wallet and does not hold cryptocurrency. Using a non-custodial approach, a digital Vault safeguards your Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet seed phrases, private keys, and other essential data.
The Vault12 Guard app enables secure decentralized backups and provides inheritance for all your digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, crypto wallets, and other digital data.
Whether your digital art is suitable for a phone, or represents much higher resolution multimedia, make sure that you have backed up a copy in case the resource link is disrupted in the future. Digital art can easily be added to the Vault either via the mobile app or via the desktop utility. Once you have stored your artwork in your Vault, it will also benefit from inheritance once you activate that in your app.
Whether you are at home or away, make sure that essential data about your home and family - including IDs, medical records, insurance information and home safe combinations - is backed up and available at your finger tips.
With secure a decentralized backup Vault, you can ensure that in any event you always have access to important information, wherever you are.
